Hello 2017!!

All Heart Photography 2017

2016! Such a rough year for so many people, especially celebrities. Personally it wasn’t the kindest year for my family either.  2016 had it’s share or challenges and trails for the Mansfield family. We moved (late 2015) from Austin, our home base for many years, to Bryan, TX without any friends or steady income. It’s not always easy uprooting a company and moving it to a new city.

Thankfully we quickly found a great church and met some really awesome people through that church as well as some events that I photographed. And even with a slow start in the photog bizz here in B/CS (four dry months!) we still ended up with a ton of amazing couples, families, and events this year.

2016 was the first year that I was able to be a photographer FULL TIME! Yes! Finally after years of working on the weekends and evenings to build this business and taking a lot of family time away from my very supportive wife; it became my only job. In that aspect 2016 was amazing! I have been able to see my son (almost 2 yrs old now) grow so much this year. Physically and especially mentally.

Now I work from home and can take a break from editing photos to help my son put together a puzzle or watch Minions for the 104th time. Still love that movie though. On top of time with my son, I’ve had mornings with my wife. Every single morning! I know that might sounds scary to some of you husbands out there, but I absolutely love time with my wife. She is my best friend and we could seriously live in a cabin in the woods for years with no other human interaction. (Other than the inevitable horror movie that will take place since it’s a cabin in the woods.) She’s awesome and if you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her, hit me up. We love to double date! We love pizza and wine, just FYI =]

So here is little overview of the amazing things that we’ve been able to do as a business this past year.
